Shows where to look and which official source governs in fund and investment grievances. It makes no claim about rights, deadlines or amounts; every item points to the official record.
This guide is not legal advice. Official institution statements govern; social media and news sites are secondary sources.
1. Find the official notice first
If you saw news about a fund or institution, look at the SPK bulletin and the KAP disclosure rather than the news item. Social media and news sites are secondary; claims about rights and deadlines are verified only from the official record.
Check in which institution your fund units are recorded and in which status (tradable, suspended, in liquidation) on TEFAS and in your intermediary's account screen. Status is read from the record, never guessed.
3. Read the process and timeline from the official text
In a liquidation or similar process the steps and time limits are set by the board decision and the Official Gazette/KAP text. This page does not state deadlines or amounts; go to the decision itself.
Taxation of fund gains is governed by separate legislative provisions. Verify withholding and loss offset questions against the relevant article in the Legislation section and GİB sources.
5. Direct complaints to the registered institution
Send your complaint or application first to the intermediary that handled the transaction and, if needed, to the relevant regulator (SPK; BDDK for banks) through its official channels. Keep your correspondence and documents.
